WEIGHT/AGE RULES

* Players over the max weight for their age group will be an “X” player and play as an interior lineman.

*Players over the max weight can play up one age group as a “y” player

*Players 25 pounds below the max weight of the age group below them can play in that age group as a “Z” player.

*14 year olds in 8th & 9th grade can play in the Bantam Division.

*15 year olds cannot “Z-down” to the Bantam Division.

*9 year olds cannot “Z-down” to the Scout Division.

BALL SPECIFICATIONS

All teams will use Footballs with the Ute Conference Logo on them as the game balls.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE CERTIFIED HELMETS – SHOULDER PADS – PADDED PANTS & JERSEYS

as part of their registration.

Each player is required to wear a well-made MOUTHPIECE to protect the teeth and mouth. These must be worn in all games and contact drills. Players must purchase their own mouthpiece.

FOOTBALL CLEATS are strongly recommended and are purchased by the player. Tennis Shoes are NOT allowed.
